Breaking the Barriers: A Policy Action Kit Promoting the Reproductive Health of Women of Color and Low-Income Women

This kit contains 18 different policy initiatives aimed at promoting reproductive health equity. It is tailored for advocates and policy-makers with varying skills and experience levels. In addition to documenting the need for action, each policy section of the kit includes a step by step strategy guide; identifies key resources, materials and organizations; and provides model legislation. The kit also highlights successful policy campaigns and innovative approaches from the field.

Making Sexual Decisions: The Ultimate Teen Guide

The Native American, Alaska Native, First Nations, 23rd Annual Culture-Based Curriculum Development Workshop is scheduled for July 14-17, at the Fairfield Inn and Suites-Cherokee in Cherokee, NC. The New Jersey Teachers Institute in Sexual Health Education (NJ TISHE) training is scheduled for August 11-15 at Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ. NJ TISHE is a weeklong, residential, skills based training for New Jersey middle and high school health teachers. Through interactive workshops and group activities led by sexuality educators, attendees will have the opportunity to analyze and evaluate teaching method skills and learn about new strategies and resources.
