World AIDS Day, December 1, 2001
First observed on December 1, 1988, World AIDS Day is observed annually to strengthen global efforts to address the challenges of the AIDS pandemic. This year’s theme is I Care…Do You? Youth and AIDS in the 21st Century.
The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP), 38th Annual Meeting, “Reproductive Health 2001” is scheduled for December 12 -15 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. The two pre-conference sessions are Adolescent Reproductive Health and Women’s Health During Perimenopause and Beyond. The conference, designed for clinicians and other healthcare professionals, will feature informative lectures with question and answer sessions immediately following. General session topics will include sexually transmitted infections, abortion, contraception, social issues, and much more. Registration fees are available at http://www.arhp.org/arhpframeconf.html
