Conferences

The National Association of People with AIDS and Metro Teen AIDS, 2001 Ryan White National Youth Conference on HIV and AIDS is scheduled for February 17—19 at the Marriott Tech Center in Denver, CO. Through interactive sessions and peer-led workshops, this conference will provide the opportunity to increase awareness about the threat HIV infection poses to young people, to identify and share effective resources, and develop youth appropriate services to those who are infected with HIV or at risk. The American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) National HIV/AIDS Update Conference, AIDS Treatment and Care: Translating Progress into Practice is scheduled for March 20—23 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, CA.
