After more than 50 years in New York City, the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U.S. (SIECUS) is consolidating our work in Washington, DC.
We are deeply grateful for the leadership and vision of Monica Rodriguez. As our President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the past five years, she has identified the strategic pathway for SIECUS, including a consolidation of our programmatic and policy work in Washington, DC. Monica will step down on September 30, 2015 after a professional association with SIECUS for over 20 years.
We thank all of the staff who have served the legacy of SIECUS in New York City, especially Jason Osher who has been senior staff for nearly 15 years.
As SIECUS moves forward with a renewed energy and vision we are pleased to announce that beginning October 1, 2015, Jesseca Boyer, Vice President for Policy, will serve as Interim President & CEO. Jesse is available to answer questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are confident that our move will energize and renew our efforts for the next 50 years of affirming sexuality as a fundamental part of being human; advocating for the right of all people to comprehensive sexuality education and health services; and working to create a world that ensures social justice and sexual rights.
Our work continues, and your support is more important than ever. Thank you for your continued support for SIECUS.
